Traditional Foods
Traditional foods and culinary formulas use the sclerotium powder as poria, without an extract claim.

Poria cocos is dug, not picked. The wrinkled lump is a sclerotium, the storage organ under the tree, also filed as Wolfiporia extensa. There is no cap to put on the label.
Traditional decoctions and formula powders are the usual home. That is not the same purchase as a high-assay extract. Call it poria powder unless the COA states an assay, confirm the part is sclerotium, and check microbiology if it is going into food.

Traditional foods and culinary formulas use the sclerotium powder as poria, without an extract claim.

Capsules call it poria powder unless an assay is actually what was standardised.

Decoctions traditionally boil the cut sclerotium. This powder is the milled form of that same organ.

Classic formulas place it among other herbs, under Poria cocos or Wolfiporia extensa.
