Toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo and skincare—cooling plus signature mint scent; sensitive skin formulas need lower levels.

Menthol is a monoterpenoid from mint oils or synthesis, supplied as ≥99% white crystals or powder with characteristic peppermint aroma, CAS 2216-51-5.
It delivers familiar mint flavor plus cooling—unlike WS coolants that are selected when you want minimal odor. l-Menthol is the mainstream cooling isomer; racemic or mislabeled “menthol” is a common PO error.
Food, oral care, tobacco, pharma and fragrance applications on supplier sheets use strict low percentages—overdose causes burn rather than refresh.
Confirm food/cosmetic grade and certificates on the lot COA.

Gum, candy, ice cream and functional drinks—typical addition rates are tight; fix l-menthol assay on the PO.

Cigarettes, heated tobacco and e-liquids often blend menthol with synthetic coolants—state menthol vs WS on the order.

Topical analgesics, throat products and nasal inhalers—cooling, counter-irritant and flavor roles differ by SKU.

Base note in mint flavors and fragrances; not interchangeable with odorless WS lines on the same dose.
