Soups and Dishes
Soups and dishes use wood ear for flavour and bite. That culinary ear is not a capsule assay.

Wood ear in a soup and Auricularia auricula in a capsule should not share a specification. One is a culinary ear. The other is an extract, and only if a polysaccharide or beta-glucan figure is actually on the COA.
The powder here is pale, not the dark brown of the fresh ear. Do not invent an assay the sheet does not show, do not swap it for tremella, and ask for the part and a metal panel before a supplement label is printed.

Capsules use the extract only when a polysaccharide or beta-glucan figure is the dose being filled.

Blends name Auricularia. Snow fungus, tremella, is a different jelly fungus.

Savoury drinks can take colour and a slightly gelatinous mouthfeel at a real dose.
