Curcuminoid Capsules
95% fat-soluble grade. Dose in hundreds of milligrams.

Curcumin from turmeric rhizome is sold as a fat-soluble 95% grade and as water-soluble grades around 10% or 20% on a carrier.
The 95% grade is the one used in capsules and softgels. It will not dissolve in a clear drink. Water-soluble powders sacrifice assay for dispersion. Black-pepper piperine is sometimes paired with curcumin; that is a second ingredient, not part of this assay.
When buying, write 95% curcuminoids or the water-soluble percent. “Turmeric powder” at 3% curcumin will not pass either.

95% fat-soluble grade. Dose in hundreds of milligrams.

Use the 10–20% water-soluble grade. The 95% grade floats and stains.

Strong yellow. A little goes a long way in a coating or filling.

95% curcuminoids are bitter and yellow. A coating is normal.

The fat-soluble 95% grade belongs in oil, not in water.

A little 95% curcuminoid colours a coating. It still will not dissolve in water.

Piperine is added from the black-pepper code. It is not inside this assay.
