Product Description
Tongkat ali extract is made from the root of Eurycoma longifolia. The marker that separates a standardized powder from a dark ratio extract is eurycomanone, commonly 1%, 2% or 5%, alongside 50:1 to 200:1 ratios.
It is used in men’s vitality capsules and in sports premixes. Bitter, dark extracts and pale high-eurycomanone grades behave differently in a drink.
When buying, specify eurycomanone by HPLC and the extract ratio separately. They measure different things.

Sports Premixes
Bitter. Dose and flavour masking decide whether a powder blend works.
Tablets
Dark extracts stain. Check content uniformity on a high-ratio grade.
Bitter Drinks
Possible only with heavy masking. A pale 5% eurycomanone grade and a dark 200:1 extract do not taste the same.
Two Numbers
Write both the eurycomanone percent and the extract ratio if the customer quoted both.
Not a Root Tea
A simmered root is not a 2% or 5% eurycomanone powder.
