Softgel Oil
85–95% fatty acids. This is the grade most urinary-health briefs mean.

Saw palmetto extract from the berry of Serenoa repens is a lipid extract. Powder grades carry about 25–45% fatty acids; oils carry about 85–95%.
The clinical extracts are the oils used in men’s urinary-health softgels. A low-fatty-acid powder is a different dose and often a different process (solvent versus supercritical CO2).
When buying, choose oil or powder first, then the fatty-acid percent, and ask for the sterol profile if the customer’s monograph requires it.

25–45% fatty acids. You need more mass for the same fatty-acid dose.

The process changes the lipid profile. Name it if the customer did.

An oil softgel and a 25% powder capsule are different doses of fatty acids.

Most briefs mean the high-fatty-acid oil. Confirm before you cost the powder.
