Liver-Health Capsules
Silymarin percent first. Organic is the second line on the spec.

Milk thistle extract is the seed of Silybum marianum, standardized to silymarin, a family of flavonolignans. Organic status is a certification on top of that assay, not a replacement for it.
It is used in liver-health capsules. Typical extracts sit around 80% silymarin by UV; HPLC of silybin is tighter and usually lower. An organic seal does not pick the method.
When buying, ask for the silymarin percent, the method, and the organic certificate for the actual lot.

Silymarin percent first. Organic is the second line on the spec.

The seed extract is the supplement. Aerial tea cuts are a different assay.

UV 80% and HPLC silybin will not match. Use the customer’s method.

Match UV silymarin or HPLC silybin to the customer’s method before you set the weight.

Organic is a certificate. The silymarin percent is still the dose.

An 80% UV silymarin result and an HPLC silybin result are not the same number.

Aerial teas are a different assay from the seed extract.
