Product Description
Rice bran wax is the hard wax from rice bran oil, typically refined to about 99%. It is a structuring wax, not an antioxidant extract.
Formulators use it to harden balms, lipsticks and vegan emulsions, and as a polishing or release agent in some foods. It melts and recrystallises; it does not “standardize” to a polyphenol.
When buying, check melting point, acid value, and whether the grade is cosmetic or food.
